Virgin EMI have announced today (February 6th) that they have signed UK rock band Young Guns.

After two successful albums the band have signed a new deal with Virgin EMI and are shortly to begin the recording of their third record in San Francisco with Dan the Automator.

The band released a statement on their website saying “We can’t wait to get started with this great new team and release some new music.”

The record deal will also include the US, which the band managed to break in 2013 with ‘Bones’ becoming one of the most played songs of 2013 on US rock radio and going on to become one of the official theme songs for Wrestlemania 29.

The bands first album All Our Kings Are Dead charted at number 43 in the UK official charts and follow up album Bones reaching number 19 in the charts.

Big things are expected from the High Wycombe rockers in 2014.
