Glaswegian producer Rustie has premiered ‘Attak’, the second song from his second record Green Language. The track features Detroit rapper Danny Brown. Listen to the track below.
‘Attack’ was dubbed the “hottest record in the world” and was premiered by Huw Stevens (who was sitting in for Zane Lowe) on Radio 1. On the show Rustie promised that Green Language will contain “a lot more wierder stuff.”
As proven by Rustie’s trio of productions on Brown’s Old, the rapper can easily jump his colossal yet colourful track. However, ‘Attak’ may be the greatest mix of the two personalities yet. Brown’s aggressive yelps complements the deranged sirens, before reaching a hard-hitting climax of blaring beats, solidifying it as a ‘banger’ in a uniquely Rustie fashion.
Green Language is due out on August 25th via Warp. You can listen to the first single, ‘Raptor’, below.
