Indie-rockers Mystery Jets are set to release their fifth studio album Curve of the Earth.
The album will be released on 22nd January next year, with a track list compiled of nine new songs and an addition to the sound in the form of freshly recruited bassist Jack Flannagan. The album comes four years after the London based group released their previous record Radlands.
The album was recorded in their own Stoke Newingston studio, which has been central to a development in the band’s ethos. Will Rees, guitarist and vocalist, remarked “There’s been a lot of growing up that’s happened in the last couple of years, and a lot of us just doing it for ourselves and setting up the studio”.
In addition to the album release, the band will play a one-off gig on 10th November at the London ICA.
