Florence and the Machine have been announced as the latest headliners for one of the British Summer Time shows at London’s Hyde Park next summer.
“It’s a real honour to headline Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park,” said Florence Welch. “It’s an iconic place to perform, especially for a British artist. I grew up in London. All of my first gigs were here. We will put on something really special. What’s amazing is that we have free reign, so we are going to make something magical happen!”
US rapper Kendrick Lamar, Jamie XX and Blood Orange, will join Florence on the bill on the 2nd July.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, 4th December.
Florence also joins other headliners Mumford and Sons and Take That at this years event, which will be in it’s 4th year next summer.
