The Strokes have made appeals for help as guitarist Nick Valensi’s Epiphone guitar went missing in transit. The instrument went missing after a flight between New York, the band’s city of origin, and Los Angeles.
The band have issued a statement on their website pleading for anyone with information about the guitar’s whereabouts to come forward. The post stated that Valensi was “bummed”, and added “We deeply appreciate the extra eyes and ears”.
A description of the “beloved Epiphone” was enclosed alongside a contact email (firstname.lastname@example.org) for anyone who may have seen the guitar on ebay or in a pawnshop.
