As always, Glastonbury Festival tickets have sold out within minutes of going on sale. *Cries*. But this is the time of year when the rumours start circling. Here are some of the bookies favourites headline.

Guns N’ Roses – 4/6

Axl Rose and Co got back together earlier this year, their comeback tour earning them significantly large amounts of money. Whether they’ll actually play Glastonbury, a festival known for not offering a vast amount to headliners, is another matter.

Kasabian – 6/4

It’s quite surprising seeing Kasabian with such short odds. Especially as they only headlined the festival in 2014. With no new album out, it seems unlikely that the Leicester band will headline in 2017, but there is still time!

Stone Roses – 4/1

17 years ago, the Stone Roses famously pulled out of their headline slot, to be replaced by Pulp. Fast-forward to the present day and the band have released two new singles and it is heavily rumoured that an album is on the way too. Could 2017 be their year?

Radiohead – 6/4

At last year’s festival, Radiohead were rumoured to be playing a secret set, sadly, this turned out to be false. With A Moon Shaped Pool out this year, Radiohead could make a return to the pyramid stage in 2017.

Rihanna – 6/1

Ever since Beyoncé headlined in 2011, we have all wondered when her big pop-rival Rihanna would be the big name at the top of the pile. With Anti proving a massive commercial success, 2017 could be the year that she finally headlines.

Daft Punk – 9/1

It seems as though Daft Punk are rumoured every year, and every year they leave fans gutted. Having released new music with The Weeknd and with a heavily rumoured new album on the way, perhaps this time they will leave people excited.

Lady Gaga – 16/1

Lady Gaga sings live in Italy at Umbria Jazz Festival

Sure, these are long odds, but, with a Super Bowl Half Time show on the cards and a new album on the way, Lady Gaga is most certainly back! Why shouldn’t she top everything off with a Glastonbury slot?
