Scream! Yer faves Los Campesinos! are ‘back’, with details of a new album and a new track to boot.

Sick Scenes, the Cardiff-ish six piece’s sixth album, is set for release on February 24 through Wichita Recordings. ‘I Broke Up In Amarante’ is the first track to be taken from the record, and you can hear it below.

In a statement, frontman Gareth Paisey says this:

Thematically the record is concerned with fumbling for personal relevance while trying to be a better person. Repressing anxiety and attempting to function while constantly maintaining the perfect two-beer buzz. It is set upon a backdrop of non-league football, prescribed medication, and crumbling hometowns.
